The OREI DP-EX330UR-K is a professional DisplayPort over HDBaseT extender designed to transmit high-resolution video and control signals over long distances using standard CAT5e/6 cabling. It supports DisplayPort 1.4a, HDCP 2.3/2.2/1.x, and video resolutions up to 4K@60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma subsampling, making it suitable for demanding professional AV environments.
Using a single CAT5e/6 cable, the DP-EX330UR-K extends DisplayPort, IR, RS-232, and USB 2.0 signals up to 100m/330ft. The Receiver provides four USB 2.0 ports for connecting peripherals such as a keyboard, mouse, USB camera, or USB drive, allowing convenient access to USB devices from the remote location.
The extender features bi-directional IR and RS-232 transmission, enabling remote control and command communication between the source and display sides. Its bi-directional PoC (Power over Cable) functionality allows either the Transmitter or Receiver to supply power to the opposite unit, helping simplify installation.
For compatibility management, the DP-EX330UR-K provides EDID TV Copy and STD modes, while full HDR pass-through supports HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and HLG. The Receiver also includes audio de-embedding for routing audio to an external device.
