Sony BDP-S480 Region Free Blu-ray DVD PlayerThe Sony BDP-S470 region free Blu-ray Disc Player combines high quality images with enhanced networking functions. This hardware modified BDP-S480 is guaranteed to play DVDs and Blu Rays from all region around the world. However, it doesn't have a built-in PAL to NTSC video converter so it will not play PAL DVDs on N. American TV (NTSC) without an external video converter. It will play ALL PAL or NTSC DVD and Blu-rays on Multi-System or PAL TV found in Europe, Asia, Africa or Australia.
