The Pioneer BDP-53FD Elite 3D Blu-ray DVD player is guaranteed to play DVDs from all regions: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and Blu-rays from zone A, B or C. It will work on ANY TV, without the need of external video converters or special television. The BDP-53FD features a perfect PAL to NTSC conversion for best picture. This Pioneer BDP-53FD Elite multi-region blu-ray player is guaranteed to play DVDs from any region PAL or NTSC out of the box. Our modifications are guaranteed to work with any future firmware updates from Pioneer.

The Elite BDP-53FD, with armored chassis construction that includes a layered chassis, center-mounted tray, rigid mechanical base, and QDEO video processor with 2 HDMI outputs, features Pioneer’s new Sound Retriever Link and Stream Smoother Link. The Sound Retriever feature enhances compressed audio files by filling in data lost during the compression process, while Stream Smoother enhances compressed video files to reduce compression noise and establish more detailed, finer images.

Full Control With Simple Touch

For convenient control of the home theater system, Pioneer’s free iControlAV2 App turns various smartphones and tablets into fully functioning remote controls for the BDP-53FD Elite. When your player is connected via Ethernet to a wireless router, the app allows users to control basic functions of the players. Pioneer’s iControlAV2 App is available for the iPad®, iPhone®, iPod® touch and for select Android® devices.
