The Panasonic DMP-B15 region free portable blu ray player is a
super-versatile portable disc player that conforms to a multitude of
worldwide standards. It's an all-region Blu-ray disc and DVD player that
can play a wide variety of CD, DVD and Blu-ray disc formats. And it
accepts video signals in the NTSC, NTSC 4.43, PAL, B, D, G, H, I, M, N
and SECAM B, D, G, K, K1, L formats. It even has a 110-240 V AC, 50/60Hz
international power supply. And it plays back images on a
high-resolution 8.9" WSVGA 16:9 LCD display.
With its built-in Ethernet port,
VIERA CAST and BD-Live compatibility, you can enjoy the ability to
instantly stream movies or even access YouTube from the Internet. It
raises the bar of excellence with HDMI (v. 1.3a) x.v.Color/Deep Color
processing, 1080/24p signal stream output, Panasonic's exclusive
1080i/1080p P4HD upconversion, and PHL Reference Chroma Processing.
Moreover, easily access Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, and DTS-HD

Additionally, its widescreen display

The PHL Reference Chroma Processor Plus is a high quality image-processing technology that precisely processes each pixel of the Blu-ray Disc video signal in the vertical direction. It reproduces color data with twice the accuracy of conventional systems, resulting in faithful and sharp colors.

VIERA CAST Functionality
This distinctive application gives you access to select web sites, including Amazon Video-on-Demand, a streaming video service that gives the consumer access to more than 40,000 titles; YouTube; Google Picasa Web Album; Bloomberg and a weather channel. VIERA CAST does not require an external set-top box, nor is there a fee for the service. As additional web sites are added to the service, they will automatically appear as an option. Viera Cast and BD-Live features require an internet connection via the unit's LAN port.
